CIRCULAR SLOVAKIA IS EXPANDING ON STRONG COMPANIES

On 29 June 2020, the national platform for circular economy CIRCULAR SLOVAKIA is expanding on 20 companies. By singing the joint declaration the companies voluntarily commit supporting circular economy in Slovakia and actively contributing to sustainable change. Strategic planning, peer discussions, awareness raising, experience and knowledge exchange as well as other elements will enhance business in circular economy in Slovakia. Companies are coming from various sectors including IT, professional services, car rental, foundry, textile, industry productions, retail, banking, food.

We are proud that our tree members declared the ambition to support the circular transition in Slovakia and claimed their cooperation by joining Circular Slovakia.

Circular Slovakia was officially launched in December 2019 as an initiative of collaborating partners from private and public sphere. This was prepared with an advising help of Holland Circular Hotspot and support of the Netherlands Embassy in Slovakia. The official declaration of collaboration between Holland Circular Hotspot and Circular Slovakia was signed on 27 February 2020. Currently the platform is turning to an association of legal entities, developing its activities and becoming a recognized stakeholders in public and private sphere. Most up-to-date information can be found over the facebook. At the same time, an online database of stakeholders is being under upgrade on the website of the Slovak Environmental Agency .
